Gianna Sabatini, 13, is an 8th grade student in Harford County Public Schools and a member of We Cancerve Movement, Inc.’s 2025 Board of Advisors. She’s also a member of National (Junior) Honor Society, School Band, Students Against Destructive Decisions, and middle school and recreation soccer teams.
She was named to We Cancerve’s leadership team after volunteering at the nonprofit’s Scentsational Toiletries drive. She donated toiletries to the drive, and assisted with packaging toiletries for area youth experiencing homelessness and other hardships. Inspired to help her local community, she joined the team to continue helping people, which is one of her favorite things to do.

She said as soon as she found learned about We Cancerve, she couldn’t wait to help the award-winning nonprofit. Most of her community service experience has been helping younger kids. She also views herself as a good leader and has personal experience of serving at a local food bank, and bringing happiness to a friend who battled cancer.
